Weather and Riding!

Well, We Hope you all had a great holiday! I for one am glad they are over. No more crazy traffic, no more Christmas crowded stores! Well, just wanted to share a few pictures with you. Texas has some crazy weather. I took some pictures of a line of clouds today. This morning it was sunny and then the clouds rolled in around 9 am. Then it poured rain really hard for about 20 minutes and then a sunny day with not a cloud in the sky. After I got home from work, Mark and I went for a quick bike ride around town. Here he is on his Hurricane and I on my Catrike. Ain't life fun!

December 24th, 2008

Merry Xmas eve y'all! Mark and I are just hanging out at home playing on the xbox. I found a great game called PORTAL.( Picture to the left) Its just a thinking game that has no timelimit (Dad would like that too). Today I had to work, (tomorrow too) but for right now i'm going to work on my resume and then we are going to make a salad. Mark tried the prebagged ones but they are not very good. (I personally wouldn't know good salad from bad salad :P) so we are going to make one from scratch! YEA CHRISTMAS SALAD! It'll be a new tradition in the Hastings house. (Geesh, why couldn't we learn how to make candy...i'd even settle for peanut brittle) Well, I guess I better start thinking healthy these days If i'm going to keep up with Mark on the super long bike rides we are planning for next year. Our Hastings' Happenings

HI Y'ALL! Well, it's almost a new year! Mark and I are going to try to keep y'all up to date on our "Happenings"! January 1st is just around the corner so keep a watch for new pictures, news, updates and adventures. We have a ride planned for January 1st. A 200k to be exact. It'll be Chris' first 200k and longest ride to date. As long as the weather doesn't drop below freezing we'll be there. Also coming up will be pictures and posts all about the pups! Stay Tuned as we are very excited about the new year! (SHHHH.....Don't Forget, December 31st is Mark's birthday! )
